Wow, Time Flies

Wow, this has really gotten away from me. Sorry. I'm having an absolutely great time. I've been doing it a lot of traveling: Vienna, Budapest, Brno, Strecno, etc. I hang out with the other exchange and Slovaks, but Slovaks are busy studying most of the time, so the "Nitra Four" usually find themselves together.

The little Brazilian in Nitra, Amanda (but we call her 'Baby'), saw snow for the first time about a week ago. It was so much fun watching her excitment. Allison, the other American (aka 'Mommy'), and I called her adorable even more than usual.

I changed host families. I live downtown, so I don't have to get a bus all the time. My host brother speaks English, but the rest of the family doesn't really, so I'm hoping my Slovak will start to improve even more quickly. I live really close to the school. This is great because I can sleep in later, but that makes it more tempting to oversleep because I know that I can still make it to class. I've done this twice. Fortunately, Amanda is dropped off at my house to walk to school with my host brother and me, so she wakes me up.

That's really all I can think of to write. I think these updates are going to be pretty few and far between, and I'm sorry about that, but really, I think it's more important to enjoy my exchange while I'm here. Feel free to email though, I'm pretty good about replying eventually.
